Kurt Ferré, DDS
Dr. Ferré has over 30 years of experience as a practicing general dentist. While he is now retired, he is immediate past president of the Multnomah Dental Society and does weekly volunteer work on a Medical Teams International (MTI) mobile dental unit in the Portland metropolitan area.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Dentists and he serves on the GKAS Day steering committee for the past 7 years.
Ms. Mattsen has over thirty years experience as an office manager in the dental field. She is currently the Executive Director of the Multnomah Dental Society (since 2003) and has extensive experience in managing a non-profit organization.
She is also the chair of the steering committee for the annual GKAS Day event that served a record number of children (just over 400) at our last February GKAS Day. She was a guest speaker at the July, 2010 GKAS Day National Symposium at the ADA in Chicago.
Our Board Members
Ms. Lanxon has over thirty five years experience as a dental assistant, patient care coordinator and office manager in the dental field. She is currently in Sales and Marketing with Dentists Management Corporation where she interacts on a daily basis with over 500 DAISY software offices located all across the US. She participates and presents in DAISY software client education seminars. She volunteers for the Mission of Mercy event held yearly by the ODA as a CDA taking digital x-rays for the Endodontic and Surgery clinicians.
Dr. Andrea Beltzner
Dr. Beltzner received her dental degree from Harvard in 2005 and then completed a pediatric dental residency program at the University of Connecticut. She is extremely active in organized dentistry, and has served as President of both the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Multnomah Dental Society, in addition to serving on their leadership boards for many years. She enjoys volunteering regularly at the Creston Children's Dental Clinic, on the Tooth Taxi and at events like Mission of Mercy.
Ms. Boylan has been an active member of the dental community for 15 years. For the past eight years, she has been a Business Manager for two endodontic practices. She served as President for the Oregon Dental Executives’ Association, and as an Advisory Board Member for two MODA Health companies. She loves working with people, and volunteering with the Dental Foundation of Oregon, Mission of Mercy, and FCCDC.
Dr. Lorin Rice
Dr. Rice has been involved with dentistry for over 40 years. He received his DMD from OHSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Rice is the founding dentist at Laurelwood Dental and recently retired from active clinical dentistry. He now supports opportunities for access to dental care for everyone. In his free time, Dr. Rice enjoys woodworking, travel and time with family and friends
